Day 2 : Blogging the new 'do

It's been a whole year since I had a haircut, and let me tell you, it was quite feral!

No longer do I look like the crazy old cat lady with the big fuzzball on her head.

Ta da!

My hairdresser claimed it took 10 years off me, but apparently now that means I look like a 12 year old. In another shop about half an hour after the new 'do, another customer mistakenly identified my 12 year old daughter as my "friend". Needless to say Miss 12 was mortified.

You look gorgeous! I cannot believe you have a tweve year old daughter.

I second Kate - you do not, I repeat, do not, look old enough to have a 12 year old daughter!

When you were saying that that meant you must look 12 I instanly assumed you were 22!

*not so quietly jealous* lol

Yes, I have been told before I look 22. Not bad for a 34 yr old, even if I do say so myself! I have great genes... in the skin department anyway!

I would not have thought that face is old enough to have a twelve year old daughter!

And it's a great haircut!

I was doing the math too! My poor brain was thinking how young you must have been when you gave birth, but it didn't make sense! I read your comment above and now my brain can rest, it makes sense now.

You look gorgeous! You also look like a teenager, not a 12 year old. I bet you will get asked for ID if you go into a pub.

Where is the before photo though? I need a before photo so I can feel like there is hope for me too. It has been 6 months since I had a hair cut. These babies...

A whole year? My god, 6 weeks is my max, but then I have short (ish) hair. You sure you have a 12 year old daughter?

LOL ... I can imagine how mortified Miss 12 would be! Your hair looks great.

I'm so jealous of your new hair do - it's been quite some time since I had mine 'done' too! And you look fabulous - so not the mother of a twelve year old. Too unfair! :)

agh! I too have been mistaken for my daughter's sister. Of course, we were with her grandma (my father's wife) and my daughter is 4. _I_ was the one mortified that anyone would think that woman was our mother *LOL*

your hair looks stunning and hopefully you have straight hair so it's easy to fix :)
